A day around Johannesburg, thanks to ATNS

During our recent International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Frequency Spectrum Management Panel (FSMP) meeting in Johannesburg, South Africa, we had a free day on Saturday, 2018-09-08. Our meeting host, Air Traffic and Navigation Services (ATNS) was very generous to provide a fantastic tour around the city. Our group hit the Lion & Safari Park, had a great local lunch at Sakhumzi Restaurant in Soweto, visited Nelson Mandela’s house, and toured the Apartheid Museum. Since Joana and I had already visited the museum, we made a quick side trip to Gold Reef City.

We set up a shared Google Photos album where several participants added some of their photos and videos. Enjoy!
