As one of the world’s largest markets for remittances (both domestic and international), and with a culture that encourages new technology and innovation, the Philippines has become a hot spot for Bitcoin adoption. The excitement that surrounds the Filipino startups in this space is just one of the reasons I am really looking forward to “retiring” to the Philippines some day.
